What They Do
LLMs can read, summarize, translate, and write text. They power tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and many "AI-powered" business products. They're especially useful for tasks like drafting emails, summarizing long documents, and answering questions about your data.
What They Don't Do
LLMs don't truly "understand" things the way humans do. They're very good at patterns but can sometimes generate confident-sounding answers that are wrong. That's why the best business applications pair LLMs with human oversight.
